Steven Stewart
Steven picked up his first guitar when he was 12 and never looked back. He was in a band by the time he was 14 and was playing everywhere he and his bandmates could find to play. Sometimes they were even too young to legally be in the venues they were playing in! Steven has played in bands such as Southern Groove Society (with TripleWide drummer David Daniels) and Big Money Grip, both of which toured around the NC area quite extensively in the late 1990s to early 2000s. In addition to playing with TripleWide, Steven also currently plays with The Smashed Cardinals, an acoustic trio featuring former Southern Groove Society bandmates Dave Ivey and Jessica Davis, and also performs frequently as a solo artist. Steven lives in Wilson NC, with his wife Victoria and his daughter Beatrix.
